Society Membership reached 62000 members, an all time        record;

    Society had record revenue years;

    Strengthned ComSoc leadership in the key        telecommunication technology areas; Developed a coherent        package of products and activities for a then evolving        technology;

    Established partnership with other Societies to address new        technology areas;

    Established mechanisms for interaction with industry;

    Created a Global Chapter Chair Congress.
